As most will be aware TomTom released TomTom caravan SatNav at a stupid price of £313.
They have obviously seen a market for the software and have released Europe Camper Map, which is currently is on an offer at £47.97 instead of £79. It allows you to put in all the specs of your vehicle and caravan including height, width, weight, axle weights, etc.
I personally think this is worth the cost as a normal update would cost more than that for a year, and you get the latest map anyway.
Definitely worth the money. The map was bang up to date as we travelled on a few new(ish) sections of road and they were on there. It never took us down any roads not suitable for the caravan. having said that it did not avoid B Roads either, which is good. All of the B Roads were of the better quality ones. We did check on a few occasions the route it took us and the most direct route. At no time did it take us miles out of our way. The IQ is clever too, taking us different routes to the same place if you travelled at different times of the day. For instance, we went to a place outside Biarritz with the car only twice, once at 11am and the second time around 6pm. The first time it took us virtually through the centre when the traffic was light. At 6pm it took us a wider route avoiding the city centre as it was rush hour.
On one route with the caravan there was a 3m bridge. It very cleverly took us off the route just before the bridge and put us back on it a mile or so down the road.
So Yes, it was worth the investment, especially as it was so easy to revert back to car only when we got to our destinations.
All of the other features worked well too, like finding the car park in a small town in the Basque mountain region.
